An English and American Traditional Dance Band

We are a group of musicians who enjoy playing

English, American and Irish traditional dance music,

using fiddles, flutes, harps, banjos, concertinas, guitars, mandolins, pipes, tin whistles, bones, and the like.

We play for contra and English country dances, house sessions, and charity events.

All of us truly enjoy playing for dances....dances are what this music is all about!

English country dances take place at Oxford Hall, at 1135 Oxford  in the Heights on the second Tuesday of each month;

please see this link for more information: http://www.hatds.org/ecd.html .

Please check our calendar, below, for contra dance and other appearances.

We also have been known to play (and sing) for various charity venues, especially during the Christmas season.

If you have need of a traditional band for either a dance or a charity event,

please contact Janet Roberts.

Our band practices are twice a month on 1st and 3rd Thursdays, at Oxford Hall in the Heights.

If you are interested in joining a traditional dance band, and have the energy, skills and practice time to devote to it,

please contact Dan Worrall . We are always on the lookout for new folks to play music with!

We also host house sessions amongst members of our group and their friends, just for fun, once or twice a month,

usually on Saturday evenings. If you are interested in playing music at these sessions, but not for dances, then

please contact Dan Worrall for more information about them. Anyone with a passion for this style of music, regardless of playing level,

is encouraged to join in. The tunes on this website are ones that we currently play.

Our Webmaster  is John Liestman; please contact him for any additions to or suggestions for this site.

For details on our schedule, check the always evergreen calendar here
